FAQS about Covid-19 and the Adult Day Center program:

1. Is Raspberry Hill Adult Daytime Center accepting participants?
Yes we are! We are allowing visitation beforehand from interested families-only one family member and one participant at a time. Appointment is necessary. Just give us a call we will set that up for you.

2. Have you been closed during this time?
No! We have remained open the entire time.

3. Are participants and staff screened each day when they are dropped off by families?
Yes every morning we check temps and for any s/s. On the bus we are spacing participants and they have their temps checked before getting on the bus and screened for s/s. Hand Sanitizer is also completed upon arrival.

4. Do participants where masks? Cleaning?
Yes, all are encouraged but if they are unable due to medical or cognitive reasons they do not have to where. But we ensure they are 6 feet apart. Yes we clean/sanitize often and the bus is cleaned/sanitized daily as well.

5. What if someone develops s/s of COVID-19 at the center?
We contact VDH immediately, and isolate the individual from others with proper PPE. Call the family immediately. Wait for further instruction from VDH.

6. Shouldn’t just wait until all this over before allowing the participant to come?
Each day you delay it only gets harder on you as the caregiver and the loved one will decline gradually. As long as we all take proper precautions nothing is guaranteed but at least it’s prevented as much as possible.

7. If someone gets Covid-19 and comes to the center is there a possibility we will be closed for 2 weeks?
Yes with deep cleaning in place. Case by case, depending on exposure.

8. I’m just still unsure?
Please call our office 434-525-4422 we can discuss individual needs.
